5 reasons why eating mushrooms is good
There are few dishes that can be both an appetizer or a main course, and few foods that can benefit our bodies as comprehensively as mushrooms. Do you have them often enough on your menu?
1. Mushrooms help maintain body weight
Mushrooms are low in calories, relatively harmless, and an excellent substitute for meat; they can be used to make both appetizers and main dishes. Mushrooms quickly convert into energy in our stomachs and help in metabolism. Among all mushrooms, white mushrooms are most suitable for weight loss.

2. Mushrooms boost the immune system
Mushrooms have been around much longer than humans, so they have developed special mechanisms to fight off all kinds of pests. Introducing them into your body will also make your immune system more resilient. Mushrooms are particularly recommended for colds, flu, and are very helpful in overcoming intestinal bacteria. They have a beneficial effect on the nervous system, and many consider them superfoods, which is partly true. There are thousands of mushroom species worldwide; a handful are poisonous, most are conditionally edible, and only a few have truly pronounced medicinal properties (unfortunately, none of these species grow in our areas).

3. Vitamins B and D
Vitamin B calms, improves mood, alleviates depression... Mushrooms are rich in vitamin B. Vitamin D is produced by sunlight (we get a daily dose of vitamin D if we have our head exposed to the sun for at least 20 minutes - without a hat or similar headgear), and mushrooms also contain a significant amount of it. The combination of vitamins D and B is especially suitable for women and women's health.

4. Diabetes and insulin
Diabetes is currently the most widespread disease in the world, with the problem being that three-quarters of people don't even know they have it. The way of eating in recent decades has thrown humanity's digestion off course. Such a large-scale global catastrophe has never been experienced before. Since mushrooms are cholesterol-free, they can greatly help prevent heart disease and also regulate blood sugar. For people with such problems, it is advisable to eat mushrooms several times a day.

5. Mushrooms promote skin and hair regeneration
Biotin, niacin, copper, and riboflavin are richly represented ingredients in mushrooms that help in skin regeneration and promote hair growth. This applies only to fresh mushrooms (dried mushrooms lack all of this). Additionally, remember that mushrooms have the most antioxidants when cooked.
